Contractor to hold trench rescue drill

MAPLE VALLEY — For the second year, general contractor J.R. Hayes & Sons is holding trench rescue drills for county fire departments.

Hayes says trench collapses are infrequent, but high-risk events, and rescuers seldom get hands-on training.
