A new microhousing apartment building called 2418 Ballard 58 has opened for pre-leasing at 2418 N.W. 58th St. in Ballard.

The 12,600-square-foot Built Green 4-Star and Built Smart building has four floors with 42 furnished studio units and a basement. Units have kitchenettes with locally made cabinets, large windows, zero-VOC paints and finishes, energy efficient appliances and fixtures, and extra insulation.
