A new proposal by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration to impose stiffer fines for workplace violations is designed to ensure safer workplaces across the United States.
The fine increases, according to Anne Soiza, assistant director for the state's division of Occupational Safety & Health, should help curb future safety violations in Washington and the U.S.
