New transfer station needed in Algona

ALGONA — King County's Solid Waste Division will hold an open house Wednesday in Algona to discuss the design of a new solid waste and recycling transfer station in that city.

The new transfer station will replace the existing Algona Transfer Station, which has been operating for more than 50 years.
