New guidelines out for GMA reports

OLYMPIA — The Washington State Department of Commerce has released new guidelines to help local governments complete buildable lands reports, as required by the state's Growth Management Act.

All in Western Washington are required by the GMA to inventory their buildable lands. That includes measuring new development since the last inventory, and reviewing the resulting population densities against forecasted growth.
