AMLI Arc was the 2017 Building of the Year

Is there a project that was completed in 2018 that you really like — or one that your firm worked on that you're especially proud of?

The DJC 2018 Building of the Year award is coming up soon and we'd like your help.

We're putting together a list of candidates and are looking for nominations by Jan. 25. Here are some projects on our list: UW Life Sciences Building, WSU Jordan Schnitzer Museum, Hyatt Regency Downtown, Gridiron, Amazon Spheres, Nordic Museum and Tacoma Eastside Community Center.

Email nominations to Ben Minnick, benm@djc.com. Remember: projects must have been finished in 2018 to win.

The DJC will create a final list, and then readers will vote.

The winning project's architect, general contractor, structural engineer and owner will each get a commemorative plaque, and the DJC will have a drawing and pick one voter to win a cool prize.

Here are some of the past award winners: AMLI Arc, Hazel Wolf K-8 School, Cornish Commons, Sunset Electric apartments, Paul G. Allen Center for Global Animal Health at WSU and Swedish/Issaquah Medical Center.
