Input sought for Aberdeen bridge

ABERDEEN — The US 12 Heron Street Bridge in Aberdeen has reached the end of its useful life and the Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking input on how to replace it. The bridge spanning the Wishkah River is a link to the ocean beaches.

WSDOT is studying where to build a new crossing before design work starts. The budget is $78.6 million but could change as designs evolve.
