New rendering of Northgate pedestrian bridge emerges as city breaks ground

The bridge will span 10 lanes of I-5 to connect Licton Springs to the Northgate area.

A groundbreaking ceremony led by Mayor Jenny Durkan and Councilmember Debora Juarez was held last week for the massive pedestrian and bicycle bridge that will span Interstate 5 to link North Seattle College with Northgate Mall and the future light rail station being built there.
