Designer says hybrid span to West Seattle could cost $201M

  • The hybrid could also be built up to 16 months quicker than a conventional replacement.

    When local architect Matthias A. Olt put forth his idea of replacing the West Seattle Bridge with a hybrid span made of steel combined with mass timber, he hadn't determined its cost or schedule.
