Link line downtown closing for weekend

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — Sound Transit will close the Link line north of Sodo beginning tonight and continuing through the weekend so that crews can start connecting overhead catenary power and train signal systems for East Link to the existing line.

This will be the first of five consecutive weekends Link will be closed from Sodo Station to University of Washington Station to accommodate East Link work.
