$144M Highline High School retained many historic elements

Parts of the historic terracotta facade were saved from the old school and reused at the north entrance to the new school.

Skanska built the theater “upside down” so that different crews could work more safely from the flat compacted subgrade instead of tiered concrete floor slabs, which were finished after the overhead work was done.
