GoFundMe page to help worker's family

SPOKANE — A coworker of Ana Vetter, who died last week from a fall at a Spokane-area casino project, has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to cover her funeral costs and help her family with bills.

Vetter, a 27-year-old carpenter, was officially sworn in as a member of the Carpenters Local 59 union just days before her death, according to The Spokesman-Review newspaper. She was part of a crew building a new hotel at the Spokane Tribe Casino west of Airway Heights when the formwork she was standing on collapsed. Swinerton is the general contractor on that project.
