Garco is low bidder to replace deck of I-90 Vantage Bridge

This 3-by-5-foot hole in the bridge was found in July 2020.

The Interstate 90 bridge that stretches over the Columbia River in Kittitas and Grant counties near Vantage hasn't seen a major overhaul since 1982. As a result, state Department of Transportation crews have been sporadically sent out over recent years to make emergency repairs as holes formed in the 1962-vintage bridge.
