Kelso contractor gets $108M roofing job

KELSO — Pacific Tech Construction of Kelso, Cowlitz County, says it has won a $108.28 million contract for roofing the NASA Assembly Building in New Orleans.

The project will address extensive damage caused by Hurricane Ida in 2021. Pacific Tech will replace the roof of Building 103, a 914,800-square-foot site for constructing large space structures like the Space Launch System used for NASA's deep space missions.
