NW bridges win sustainability awards

Dodge Creek Bridge in Oregon

Thirteen steel bridges — including two in the Northwest — won national recognition in the 2014 bridge awards competition from the National Steel Bridge Alliance. The prizes honor design and engineering achievements on structural steel bridges including: major span, long span, medium span, short span, moveable span, reconstructed and special purpose. Prizes are also given for accelerated construction and sustainability.
