Dow to play $77M pollution settlement

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) — Dow Chemical Co. has agreed to spend $77 million on environmental restoration projects to compensate for pollution by its plant in Midland, Michigan.

Federal and state officials announced a settlement with the company Friday.
