Kent cleanup under review

KENT — The state Department of Ecology is seeking public comment on a draft permit for ongoing environmental cleanup work by Univar Solutions USA at its chemical distribution facility in Kent. The comment period runs through Aug. 5.

Univar conducts the work under a corrective action permit, which comes up for renewal every 10 years. Ecology proposes to reissue the permit.
