SEATTLE — The city of Seattle's Office of Sustainability & Environment's Environmental Justice Fund supports efforts led by and for the people most affected by environmental and climate inequities: Black, Indigenous, People of Color, immigrants, refugees, people with low incomes, youth and elders.
Fourteen community-led organizations were recently awarded a total of $750,000 in the 2021 round of funding; the largest amount awarded to date. OSE received a total of 44 proposals focused on food justice, workforce development, environmental education, renewable energy and youth leadership.
