New deadline for flood control grants

SEATTLE — The King County Flood Control District has decided to extend the deadline for its 2023 Flood Reduction Grant program. Applications are now due by 5 p.m. on June 8. The previous deadline was May 25.

At least $12 million in grant funding is available for projects that reduce the impact of flooding throughout King County.
