Taste of Tacoma finds new home

PUYALLUP — The annual Taste of Tacoma event, originally launched in 1986, has moved to a new home at the Washington State Fair Events Center. Now known as The Taste Northwest, the event will feature nearly 200 food and specialty vendors, live music on three stages, local chef cook-off battles and outdoor beer gardens.

The event runs July 1-3, noon to 9 p.m. daily. Admission is free. Activities include shopping, a retro-themed roller rink, axe throwing, and slides.
