July 19, 2004
Thank you for covering the recent settlement agreement between King County and Campbell Soup regarding relocation of its StockPot facility in preparation for construction of the Brightwater sewage treatment facility (DJC July 9).
The Daily Journal of Commerce is an important publication for us as we work to keep the business community aware of our activities, especially major capital construction projects. That's why it's important to point out that the July 9 story was correct, however, the headline, “Brightwater stalled over soup factory,” is inaccurate. To the contrary, the project will start as planned.
