Yost Grube Hall Architecture hired Brandon Crain as a staff architect, Leslie Maynard as a human resources generalist and office manager, Allison Miller as a design team member and Crystal Sanderson as a project architect. Crain has eight years of experience in New York, Phoenix, Seattle and Portland. Maynard has over 25 years of experience in the industry, and is a member of Society for Design Administration. Miller holds a bachelor of architecture degree from Virginia Tech and worked for a firm in Virginia. Sanderson has 13 years of experience in Northern California, including education, health care and community projects. Portland-based Yost Grube Hall provides planning, architecture and interior design services.

Olympic Physical Therapy

ATI Physical Therapy of Bolingbrook, Illinois, said it has added Olympic Physical Therapy's nine clinics in the Puget Sound area to its brand. ATI said the addition means it will have 33 outpatient physical therapy clinics in Washington state. Olympic provides physical therapy, sports medicine and workers' compensation services. The management team and clinic staff will continue in their roles. ATI has more than 470 clinics in 16 states.

Washington State University

Washington State University Interim President Dan Bernardo named Ron Mittelhammer interim co-provost. He is dean of the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences. Mittelhammer named Kimberlee Kidwell acting dean for CAHNRS. Mittelhammer will be interim co-provost with Erica Austin, vice provost of WSU.

Seattle structural engineering firm Lund Opsahl hired Diane Genson as a CAD/BIM technician, Carole Elrod as office manager, Owen Bower and Shawn Roberge as structural engineers, and Katie Blaesser and Chase Steigers as engineers. Genson was with Boeing and has a degree in computer drafting and design. Elrod has over 20 years of experience in office management and was with ORB Architects. Bower was with PCS Structural Solutions and has nine years of experience. He is managing a renovation at The Evergreen State College. Roberge has 10 years of experience and was with MLA Engineering. He is managing a wine project in Walla Walla. Blaesser has four years of experience that includes working at KPFF Consulting Engineers. With Lund Opsahl, she has worked on a hotel. Steigers interned with Lund Opsahl and graduated from the University of Washington this summer.

Integrus Architecture hired Ernesto Ruiz as an intern architect in Spokane. Ruiz holds a bachelor's in interior design and a master's in architecture from University of Idaho. He is working in the justice group. Integrus provides architectural, structural engineering, interior design and security design services.

Sudol

Candela, a Stantec company, hired Megan Sudol as a lighting designer in Lynnwood. Sudol has over two years of experience and will assist in lighting design, documentation and reviewing code, and quality assurance compliance. Her work includes Bexell Hall and McNary Dining at Oregon State University. She was with an architectural lighting manufacturer.

PCS Structural Solutions

PCS Structural Solutions hired Jeremiah Bowles as an engineer. Bowles has seven years of experience and is working on Peter G. Schmidt Elementary School for Tumwater School District.

KPLU/Jazz24 hired Matt Martinez as director of content. He is leaving NPR after 15 years as a producer, most recently as senior producer for programming.

Portland Community College

Portland Community College said Sylvia Kelley will be the school's interim president while a national search continues for a new president. Kelley has been acting president of Oregon's biggest post-secondary institution since May 18, replacing Jeremy Brown.

The Seattle office of Abbott Construction hired Andy Bailey as senior project engineer and Charis Ferguson as human resources coordinator, and promoted Justin Sinconis to project engineer. Bailey holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Central Washington University, and is supporting the Bellevue Village Bartell Drugs store expansion. Ferguson manages employee benefits and supports the HR department. She holds a bachelor's degree from Seattle Pacific University. Sinconis joined Abbott in 2013 as service coordinator and supports tenant improvements.

Sequoyah Electric promoted service project manager Ferddi Martin to Service Department manager. Martin joined Sequoyah in January 2013 and has nearly 35 years of electrical trade experience.
