Seattle-based design firm Olson Kundig promoted Laura Bartunek, Jordan Leppert, Jeff Ocampo, Ryan Patterson and Jason Roseler to associate and MacKenzie Cotters to marketing manager. PBS Engineering and Environmental hired former Port of Vancouver USA CEO Todd Coleman as port sector manager. Coleman was with the port for 15 years, including four as CEO and executive director. PBS offers engineering and environmental services to ports in the region. It recently acquired local engineering firm HDJ Design Group, expanding it ability to provide transportation and traffic engineering, surveying and land use planning for ports.

The Blueline Group hired Shawn Cooper as an engineering designer. Cooper has over 12 years of CAD experience, and knows Civil 3D. He has worked on water and wastewater treatment, roadway, subdivision, mixed use and commercial projects. Blueline provides civil engineering consulting.

F5 Networks

F5 Networks hired Ben Gibson as chief marketing officer and executive vice president, based in San Jose. Gibson will be responsible for overseeing global marketing as F5 expands into application security and cloud application deployment. He was chief marketing officer at Veritas and Aruba Networks.

JND Legal Administration

Seattle-based JND Legal Administration, which focuses on class action, mass tort, corporate restructuring, government services and eDiscovery, named Michael Sherin as senior advisor. He was the former chairman of Garden City Group.

The Walsh Group hired Jay Frazier as project superintendent and Peter Hruska as project engineer for its Seattle office. Frazier is estimating the Sound Transit E320 and Operations & Maintenance Satellite Facility projects. He previously was a superintendent/general superintendent managing heavy civil infrastructure and light rail projects for Kiewit Bridge & Marine and Mowat Construction. Hruska is working on a hangar at JBLM. He is a recent graduate of Montana State University, and previously worked for a home remodeler in Bozeman, Montana.

Tigard, Oregon-based Pioneer Waterproofing hired Steve Parmentier as project manager in the Spokane/Inland Northwest Regional office. Parmentier is handling estimating, field supervision, quality control, scheduling, and relationship development with local contractors, architects and building owners. He has experience in building repair and maintenance. Pioneer specializes in building repair, restoration and maintenance.

Ditty previously worked in sales and management for Southwest Products Corp. and Pacific Power Products, and served in the Marine Corps. EC Power Systems specializes in sales, service, rental and parts distribution of industrial power products in the western United States. It is a division of EC Co., a privately held Pacific Northwest electrical contractor.
