Miller

Architects West of Coeur d'Alene hired Adam Miller and Evan Darley as BIM/CAD technicians, and Meghan Teichmann as an intern architect. Miller is a North Idaho College graduate with a year of industry experience. He is working on Christian Aid Women's & Children's Center in Walla Walla. Darley is a North Idaho College graduate with six years of experience with CAD-based software, and a background in AutoCAD and Revit. He is working on Lake City High School additions in Coeur d'Alene. Teichmann holds a bachelor and master of architecture from the University of Idaho. She working on city of Quincy projects. Architects West provides architectural and landscape architectural/land planning services.

Columbia Pacific Advisors

Columbia Pacific Advisors, a Seattle investment firm, said it has sold Talyst Systems, LLC, a pharmacy automation firm based in Kirkland, to Swisslog Healthcare of Denver. Columbia Pacific acquired Talyst in 2015.

Nossaman

Nossaman has expanded in the Pacific Northwest and added Leslie Nellermoe to the Environment and Land Use Practice Group, and Michael Wrenn to its Litigation Practice Group. They join as partners in Seattle, and come from the Seattle litigation and environmental regulation firm Nellermoe Wrenn. Nellermoe focuses on contaminated property and waste management. Wrenn is a litigator who has been practicing for more than 35 years.

Washington State University

Former Washington State University academic coordinator and retention counselor Amy Sharp is returning to Pullman as director of the Women's Resource Center. She was student life manager in Enrollment and Student Services at the College of Western Idaho in Nampa. Before that she worked at WSU's College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences, and in Student Support Services.

In Seattle, Hewitt hired Jennifer Gephardt as BIM manager. Gephardt will support BIM and Revit initiatives. She previously managed Building Information Management for architecture studios in St. Louis. Hewitt provides architecture, landscape architecture and urban design.

Tetra Tech

Casarez

In Bellevue, Tetra Tech hired Kristie Casarez as vice president of Global Infrastructure Design. Casarez has over 20 years of experience in business development, operations and management of teams for municipal, federal and private projects. She will focus on growing the GID business line, including river and coastal engineering, bridges, dams, locks, levees and hydroelectric facilities. Tetra Tech provides consulting and engineering services.

Elliott Bay Design Group

Stephanie Gullickson joined Elliott Bay Design Group's Seattle office as marketing manager. She has 12 years of experience in the maritime industry, including management, marketing, sales, event planning and administrative support. She is responsible for company-wide marketing at EBDG, which provides naval architecture, marine engineering and production support services.

Ward

Metrix Engineers hired Alivia Ward and Geoffry Grembowski as mechanical engineers. Ward is supporting the design of Juanita High School in Kirkland. Grembowski is supporting the design of Sehome High School in Bellingham. They are 2016 graduates of the University of Washington. Metrix is a mechanical engineering firm in Renton.

NAC Architecture promoted architects Cheryl Jacobs, Angela Bishop, Chad Schmidt and Jill Kurtz and electrical engineer Jon St. Pierre to senior associate. Jacobs is working on the Bennett Elementary School replacement in Bellevue. Bishop is working on the M Building redevelopment (formerly Macy's) in downtown Spokane. Schmidt is working on Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena renovations. Kurtz is working on Kootenai Health Phase Two Surgery/Emergency Department in Coeur d'Alene. St. Pierre is working on Providence Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital in Spokane. Jacobs is in the Seattle office and the others are in Spokane. NAC provides planning, design, engineering, and capital facilities consulting services.

Keeffe

Cynthia Keeffe joined HDR as a regional director for health in the San Francisco architecture studio focusing on the West Coast region. She has over 30 years of experience in architectural project management, planning and design and construction administration for health care. HDR provides engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services.

Stantec

Patterson

Stantec hired Richard Patterson as transportation principal in Bellevue. He will work on building the transportation practice in the Northwest. He has 32 years of experience in transportation engineering, and designed subway systems in Singapore. He was project manager for Seattle's South Lander Street grade-separation project. In the Puget Sound region, Stantec provides engineering and specialty design services for buildings, transportation, water, waterpower and dams, and environmental services projects.
