Fox

In Seattle, KEXP hired public radio reporter, host and producer Emily Fox to lead public affairs programming, including a new show focused on music and culture. Fox was host of NPR's Morning Edition at WKAR East Lansing in Michigan and hosted Morning Edition on KUOW Seattle.

Olson Kundig

Ralls

Seattle-based Olson Kundig named Daniel Ralls a principal. Ralls joins 11 other principals in the leadership group. He was hired in 2007 and has worked on local, regional and international residential projects. His work now includes residential, cultural, mixed-use, commercial and art installations, from the Northwest to Indonesia, the U.K. and Mexico. Olson Kundig provides architecture, exhibit design, interior design, urban design and landscape architecture.

Parker

In Seattle, Parametrix hired Rebecca Parker as a senior engineer. She has 12 years of experience in transportation project management and design for freeway, roadway and municipal projects. She was with CH2M as a civil design engineer and a member of the Seattle Waterfront Program in the Department of Transportation. She is on the Seattle transportation design team for Parametrix, which provides engineering, planning and environmental sciences.

Mukilteo-based University Mechanical Contractors promoted Donald Osborne-Moss to project manager in its major projects group. He has over four years of experience on high-profile projects for UMC. He is working on Onni 1120 Denny Towers in Seattle. UMC provides mechanical infrastructure for commercial, high-tech, institutional and industrial clients.

Loia

Hansen

In Portland, FFA Architecture and Interiors hired Amanda Hansen as an interior designer, and Andrew Loia and Cristina Camacho as architectural staff. Hansen has a bachelor's in interior architecture from University of Oregon's College of Design, and interned with a Seattle interior design firm. At FFA, she has provided support on Beaverton Public Safety Center. Loia did a graduate research fellowship at UO's Energy Studies in Buildings Laboratory, and worked for over eight years as a civil engineering designer and project manager in Boston. At FFA, he has provided architectural support on Chemeketa Community College Agricultural Complex. Camacho has an architecture degree and a master's in enterprise administration from ITESM (Tec de Monterrey). She worked for a Salem architectural firm for a year, and as a project manager for a San Francisco general contractor for five years. At FFA, she has assisted on projects for the National Park Service.

McDonald

The Watershed Co. of Kirkland hired Alee McDonald as a marketing assistant and Alex Pittman as an environmental planner. McDonald will support marketing and the natural resources group with monitoring projects and technical writing. Pittman has over six years of experience in city planning and ecology. He will support the planning team with permitting, code review and technical writing and the natural resources group with wetland and stream delineations and monitoring projects. Watershed provides natural resources assessment, mitigation and restoration design, environmental planning and permitting, arborist and landscape architecture services.

Stantec

Ryan-Gonzales

Misty Ryan-Gonzales, an ICT designer in Stantec's Lynnwood office, earned a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design certification, which helps discourage criminal activity through natural surveillance, natural access control, territorial reinforcement and maintenance. Ryan-Gonzales is Stantec's only CPTED certified professional in the region.

Yi

Denver-based Stonebridge Companies promoted Vincent Yi to captain/general manager of the Moxy by Marriott-Seattle Downtown hotel. Yi has been with Stonebridge for more than seven years, previously as general manager of Hampton Inn & Suites-Anaheim/Garden Grove in California. Stonebridge is a hotel owner, operator and developer.

Rummans

Bellevue-based BitTitan hired Tony Rummans as vice president of global sales. Rummans has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience at ProQuest, Kofax and IBM. BitTitan helps IT service companies automate cloud technologies.

Denise Louie Education Center
