Luettjohann

In Lakewood, Harborstone Credit Union hired Robert Luettjohann as senior vice president and chief lending officer. Luettjohann has over 25 years of experience in commercial lending, including credit administration and relationship management. He comes from First Federal Savings and Loan of McMinnville, Oregon, where he held a similar position.

The Downtown Seattle Association has 10 new board members: Susan Boyd, CEO of Bellwether Housing; Ben Franz-Knight, a partner at Shiels Obletz Johnsen; Phillip Greany, marketing director and director of business development for Mortenson's Pacific Northwest operations; A-P Hurd, founder of Skipstone; Jesse Ottele, executive managing director at Newmark Knight Frank; Jeffrey Roh, CEO of IntuitiveX; Brian Surrat, assistant vice president of real estate development and community relations for the Seattle office of Alexandria Real Estate Equities; Raymond Tymas-Jones, president of Cornish College of the Arts; Maria Chavez Wilcox, CEO of YWCA Seattle; and Rick Yoder, owner of Wild Ginger. Board members serve three-year terms.

Ossia

Bellevue-based tech company Ossia made a deal with FIH Mobile for FIH to design, integrate and manufacture products embedded with Ossia's Cota wireless power system. Taiwan-based FIH is a subsidiary of Hon Hai Foxconn Group that focuses on the handset and wireless communications industries. Cota delivers targeted energy to devices at a distance without wires, cables or charging pads.

NWSA

The Northwest Seaport Alliance's Clean Truck Program was a finalist in the International Association of Ports and Harbors' World Ports Sustainability Program Awards. NWSA's program competed in the Community Outreach & Port City Dialogue category against other two finalists, from South Korea and Spain (the winner). The Clean Truck Program, started in January 2019, has significantly decreased diesel pollution from trucks serving international container terminals in Seattle and Tacoma.

ExtraHop

Forbes named Seattle-based ExtraHop to its 2020 AI 50 list. ExtraHop was selected on the basis of company growth and revenue, as well as its leadership in the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence for cybersecurity threat detection, investigation and response. ExtraHop provides enterprise cyber analytics.

The Walsh Group

Sheeran

In Tukwila, The Walsh Group promoted Mike Sheeran from senior project manager to operations manager, in charge of the Building Group's Washington region. He has been at Walsh for over 20 years and was a leader on the team building the Denny Substation in downtown Seattle.

ABC

Due to the pandemic, the Associated Builders and Contractors last week canceled its 2020 national convention that was planned Aug. 17-19 in Nashville, Tennessee. The event includes the National Craft Championships, Construction Management Competition and National Excellence in Construction Awards. ABC's 2021 convention will be held March 9-11 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

Impinj

In Seattle, Impinj promoted Jeff Dossett to chief revenue officer. Dossett joined the company in 2017 and most recently was executive vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to that, he was CEO of Good Worldwide, interim CFO at Porch, chief revenue officer at Leaf Group (Demand Media) and held a number of leadership roles over 17 years at Microsoft. Impinj provides radio frequency identification products.

Pet Partners

Carryl Pierre-Drews joined the board of Bellevue-based Pet Partners. Pierre-Drews is vice president of marketing at Fullscreen, a Los Angeles-based company that helps social media content creators and brands. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of strategic marketing at USA Network, where she oversaw marketing for the annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Pet Partners registers therapy animals for animal-assisted interventions.

CI Security

Seattle-based CI Security formed a partnership with internet-of-things security vendors Ordr, Medigate and Cylera to help health care companies manage security risks for connected medical devices. CI Security provides managed detection and response for health care organizations and the public sector.

Paris Baguette

Global bakery-cafe chain Paris Baguette plans to open two restaurants in Portland, its first stores in Oregon. The Portland cafes will be franchised to a group led by Jay Chun that has retail and restaurant experience in the Rose City. Locations and opening dates were not disclosed. Paris Baguette has over 4,000 corporate and franchised cafes around the world, with over 80 in the U.S., many in California.

Alaska Communications

In Anchorage, Alaska Communications is bringing locally hosted Microsoft Azure Stack Hub cloud services to Alaska. The move will lower the latency rate (the delay before transferring data) experienced by broadband users. Alaska Communications provides broadband and managed IT services for businesses and consumers in Alaska.

Comcast

Comcast this week opened a new 4,000-square-foot Xfinity store at Evergreen Crossing Shopping Center in Spokane Valley and is remodeling its existing store at 4423 N. Division St. in Spokane as part of a $4 million brick-and-mortar investment in Washington. The new store is at 13826 E. Indiana Ave. The existing store is closed through late summer for the remodel. Comcast has 25 Xfinity stores in the state.
