When the Seattle Department of Transportation begins changing parking rules around Sound Transit's light rail stations this spring, the biggest impacts are likely to be felt in Sodo.
To discourage commuters from parking at the stations and taking the train downtown, SDOT will soon propose new parking restrictions within a quarter-mile radius of the stations in Sodo, Beacon Hill and Rainier Valley. The trains are scheduled to begin rolling between downtown Seattle and Tukwila in July.
