Sound Transit wants to start discussing what to build in the third phase of regional rail, but don’t hold your breath for a plan to come together anytime soon.
It’s been four years since voters passed Sound Transit 2, expanding light rail to the Eastside, city of SeaTac and Lynnwood. Now the agency is holding a workshop today from 10 a.m. to noon to begin the long process of planning Sound Transit 3. The meeting is at Union Station at 401 S. Jackson in Seattle.
