California developer planning 56 units in University District

A Southern California developer who specializes in housing near universities is planning a seven-story, 56-unit building at 4717 Brooklyn Ave. N.E.

Eran Fields of Sherman Oaks, Calif.-based Fields Holdings filed plans with the city to construct the building in the University District. Plans say the complex will have 4,000 square feet of retail and an underground parking garage with nine spaces.
