Miller Hull designs mixed-use ‘anchor' for a new neighborhood in San Diego

  • The developers say the IDEA1 complex will anchor a mixed-use area they are promoting that would be similar to South Lake Union.

    Lowe Enterprises and I.D.E.A. Partners want to encourage collaboration by providing flexible work spaces, and apartments with co-working areas and a communal kitchen.

    Lowe Enterprises and I.D.E.A. Partners, LLC plan to start construction early next year on IDEA1, a mixed-use complex on a full block in downtown San Diego. It is slated for completion in early 2017.
