San Diego-based ConAm plans to start construction this fall on a four-story, 131-unit mixed-use apartment building at 9176 Holman Road in Seattle's Crown Hill neighborhood.

NK Architects is designing the project and Inter-City Contractors will build it.

The team also includes Core Design, civil engineer; Ground Support, shoring; Y&T Engineers, structural; and Karen Kiest|Landscape Architects.

The 150,000-square-foot building is slated for completion in late 2016.

It will have 47 studios, 62 one-bedroom and 22 two-bedroom apartments ranging from 500 to 1,100 square feet. There will be 3,000 square feet of ground-level space for two to three shops or restaurants, as well as 106 below-grade parking stalls, a fitness center, interior courtyard, private patios along the street, rooftop deck, and a public plaza at 13th Avenue Northwest and Holman Road Northwest.

NK said in a press release that the site is between Crown Hill Urban Village and the western boundary of the Greenwood neighborhood, and near public transportation.

NK said Crown Hill is beginning to grow, and this is the latest new development in the area.

ConAm is a real estate management and investment firm specializing in multifamily housing. It has a number of properties in Washington.
