First Hill project to have 2 towers

SEATTLE — A city design review board is scheduled to get its first look at a residential complex proposed for a half-block site across the street from the Frye Art Museum on First Hill.

The design guidance meeting is tentatively set for 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Seattle University's Student Center, Room 210, at 1000 E. James Way.

Westbank Projects Corp. of Vancouver, B.C., wants to build 450 units above 5,500 square feet of commercial space at 707 Terry Ave.

The project would include two towers on a podium with landscaped roofs, and plaza-like entry on Terry and open space. Underground parking for 250 vehicles is planned.

Perkins+Will is the architect.
