DPD OKs Holland apartment tower

SEATTLE — Holland Partner Group got conditional approval from Seattle's Department of Planning and Development for a 40-story tower it is planning at 970 Denny Way in South Lake Union.

The latest plans call for 468 apartments above 15,600 square feet of retail and 359 parking spaces.

Weber Thompson is the architect and Holland's construction arm is building it.

Holland officials told the DJC in August that it wants to start work in the first quarter of 2016.
