Industrial, gritty, bohemian — choose your favorite marketing adjective, or use all three! Bounded by the Duwamish, freeway, various on- and off-ramps and Boeing Field, Georgetown has gradually been undergoing a resurgence in recent years. The monthly Georgetown Art Attack is one big draw, as are all the indie retailers, galleries and coffee shops that have been sprouting among the old red bricks.
At the high end, Sabey Corp. and New Core Development have made major investments in the area, which is no longer just a place for downing cheap beers, regretting bad tattoos and getting your vintage Vespa repaired.
