Contract rezone approved for 111 Columbia City units

Columbia City Place has been in planning and design review for over three years. Murray Kahn and Scott Shapiro acquired the site in 2007 for $1.1 million.

Earlier this month, the city Hearing Examiner approved a contract rezone from 40 to 65 feet for a 111-unit project proposed for 5201 Rainier Ave. S.
