Regency Centers buys Melrose Market for $15.5M
The acquisition represents for the shopping center REIT another move into the more urban, boutique retail market of food halls and artisanal restaurants popular with millennials.

Melrose Market opened in 2010 after $3.5 million in renovations. The complex combines at least two automotive buildings from the World War I era.
The market helps anchor the Pike-Pine corridor, which has become a major shopping, eating and residential hub.
