Ballard Hub faces first design meeting

    The south facade would have a “sawtooth” design that steps back from Market Street. A 120-room hotel is planned two doors west.

    Last summer, California investors paid $8.3 million for a prime Ballard development site at 1740 N.W. Market St., which also includes the north property across the alley at 1741 N.W. 56th St. (now a parking lot).
