The city of Seattle and the owner of the downtown property that houses the Showbox have reached an agreement to settle a lawsuit over ordinances that temporarily extended the Pike Place Market Historical District boundaries to the property, according to the City Attorney's Office.
The owner sought over $40 million in damages and attorney fees, but will accept $915,000 to cover its attorney fees and other costs, the office said in a press release.
