Petrie family adds another property

SEATTLE — The DeSoto Arms, at 4435 Phinney Ave. N. , has sold for just under $3.5 million, according to King County records. The seller was an LLC related to the Olson family, which had owned the property for decades.

The buyer was Base DeSoto LLC, associated with the Petrie family, which has recently begun buying up investment properties after selling its Copiers Northwest property, at 601 Dexter Ave. N., to Alexandria Real Estate for $28.5 million. Public records indicate a loan from Morgan Stanley.
