On the Block: After 20 years of planning, Inland Group's $12M land deal jump-starts Auburn Gateway

In a deal King County recorded last week, Inland Group of Spokane paid just over $12 million for a development site at 4750 Auburn Way N. There, as part of a larger, long-anticipated project previously approved by the city of Auburn, Inland will build Copper Gate Apartments, with 500 affordable units.

It's only one part — and the first step — of a larger phased mixed-use development to come.
