Proposed units could be first ‘passive house' project on the Eastside

An early apartment redevelopment plan has been filed at 8550 164th Ave. N.E., a little north of downtown Redmond. The property isn't listed for sale. The two married owners may be intending to sell, pending city approval of the plan by developer Robert Pantley's Natural & Built Environments.

The preferred early plan by Milbrandt Architects describes a six-story “passive house” building with 109 units, ground-floor commercial space and structured parking. The plan has its first design review with the city of Redmond today.
