Apparel maker KAVU plans new building in Old Ballard

    KAVU’s 4,000-square-foot Ballard store would be replaced.

    Not much gets built in the Ballard Avenue Landmark District, in part because there are so few parking lots or properties available to redevelop. Otherwise, most everything's historically protected against demolition.
