3 acres for sale in Rainier Beach

SEATTLE — The Seattle Times reported this week that the nonprofit Seattle Indian Health Board will close and sell its Thunderbird Treatment Center at 9236 Renton Ave. S.

The 3.3-acre triangle is about 10 minutes by foot to Rainier Beach Station. SIHB acquired it in 1990 for $1.4 million. It was developed in 1926 to house unwed mothers.
