80 units eyed for Columbia City

SEATTLE — A corner property at 3206 S. Hudson St. last traded for $487,000 in 1995. It's about a five-minute walk north to Columbia City Station, and isn't publicly listed for sale. Now Green Canopy Homes has filed a plan to redevelop with apartments.

The proposed five-story building would have 80 units, about 5,400 square feet of commercial space and 60 parking stalls. The site totals about 24,598 square feet. The project is listed with a nominal value of $12.4 million.
