More development in store for rapidly changing corner in ID

  • Vibrant Cities is proposing a 205-unit mixed-use building for a site at 214 Fifth Ave. S.

    The O'Connell family, of Lornty Investment Co., has long owned a corner parking lot and small commercial building at 214 Fifth Ave. S. in the International District. For at least a half-dozen years, Lornty has offered the property as a ground-lease deal. A sale may also be possible.

    Now developer Vibrant Cities and Link Design Group have filed a redevelopment plan.
