SUMNER — The McLendon Hardware store at 1111 Fryar Ave. has sold for almost $10.8 million, according to Pierce County records. The seller was Central Network Retail Group of Tennessee, which acquired the property for $9.2 million in 2017. That year CNR bought most of the assets from the family-run, 90-year-old hardware chain.
The buyer was a Seattle family trust. The deal was worth about $33 per square foot.
