Tacoma relocating micro shelter

By JOURNAL STAFF

TACOMA — The city plans to relocate its emergency micro-shelter site from South Eighth Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way to a site owned by the Tacoma Housing Authority at East 60th Street and East McKinley Avenue.

The city is discussing a lease agreement with THA, which has offered the site for free through 2021.
