Africatown plans 48 Rainier Valley units

SEATTLE — Two years ago, Africatown Community Land Trust paid almost $1.2 million for an old house and empty lot at 2423 S. Walker St. in the Rainier Valley.

Now, with architect Weber Thompson, it's filed a plan to develop a five-story, 48-unit home for formerly homeless youth.
