$3.3M Aurora land sale signals supportive housing and modular construction

The vacant lot left (north) of DESC’s new Galls property is also destined for new affordable housing.

A development site at 8610 Aurora Ave. N. has sold for almost $3.3 million, according to King County records. The buyer was an LLLP associated with Downtown Emergency Service Center. With architect/developer Sustainable Living Innovations, DESC is planning a four-story building with 120 units of permanently affordable supportive housing.
