Twenty years ago, two small one-story medical office buildings in the Bel-Red area traded for about $1.9 million to a local builder and investor. Now there's a plan to redevelop the 1.2-acre property at 15650 N.E. 24th St. with a new three-story office building — possibly for medical use. Freiheit Architecture is the architect for the plan, which recently entered design review with the city of Bellevue.
The program would include one level of underground parking. A prior iteration of the same plan mentioned a possible church on a second level below grade; that idea seems to have been discarded.
